Everything you store is encrypted on your device before it leaves it. We store only encrypted data and have no technical ability to read it. Not our admins, and not anyone we could be asked to hand it to.

No. Your memorable word is part of your encryption keys and is never known to us. If you lose it, your encrypted data can't be recovered. That is the cost of true zero knowledge.

Only if you share it. You decide who is in your clans and what each clan can reach, and you can revoke access at any time.

No. You sign in with Apple on iOS or Google on Android, and we keep only an anonymous identifier. Apple gives us no email, and the email in Google's sign-in is discarded, never stored. Receipts come from Apple or Google, to the email on that account.

No. No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels and no behavioral profiling.

Passports, driving licenses, insurance policies, medical information, emergency contacts, bank and card details, property information and much more. Each one is a tile item: labeled fields entered the same way every time, with the scan attached alongside. Notes sit apart, private to you and never shared. Missing a tile? Suggest it through Contact Us in the app.

iPhone, iPad and Android. Add as many trusted devices as you like; each is added deliberately, and any can be revoked at any time.

Yes. Anyone on either platform can join your clans. Your own account belongs to the platform you signed up on: an Apple account and a Google account are never linked.

A folder shares everything or nothing, never reminds you of an expiry, and whoever hosts it can read it. ClanIt shares single tiles or items, tracks every expiry date, and is unreadable to us. Keep passwords in your password manager; ClanIt is for the details someone needs to read out.

A clear card of the emergency details you store: blood group, conditions, allergies and medications, plus three emergency contacts. Encrypted end to end, and ready for anyone in your clan. ClanIt is not a medical device.

No, they complement each other. Your phone's emergency info is the right tool for the lock screen. ICE Cards hold the richer picture, shared with your family.

No. We deliberately keep no recoverable backup, so we can never restore something you deleted. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose, and export regularly.

No. Joining a clan is always free. Your tier only sets what you can do as an owner, and never affects clans you're invited to.

No. Tiers are per owner. Since joining a clan is free, family members only need a tier if they want to own clans themselves.

Open Manage Subscription in the app, which takes you to your Apple account settings or Google Play. Canceling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

If you're over the new tier's limits, clans beyond your Primary clan become read-only until you're within limits. Moving to the free tier gives you a 14-day window, with reminders, to export or trim before content over the limit is removed. See our Terms.

Your clan members keep everything you shared: it stays on their devices, and each of them can export it at any time. If your subscription later lapses, a cooling-off window with reminders gives everyone time to export what matters.

Yes. ClanIt is for families. Anyone old enough to hold an Apple or Google account under those platforms' terms can use it. For younger children, many parents keep their details, from blood groups to passports, as tile items they own themselves.

Yes. Free tier accounts inactive for more than 90 days are permanently deleted. See our Privacy Policy.
