Every clan you own carries four switches that set what its members can do: add items, edit them, delete them, or simply view. One rule for the whole clan, so there's never doubt about who can touch what. Want the same tile editable for family but read-only for your solicitor? Two clans, two rules. And when you share a single item rather than a tile, it's always view-only.

A new device becomes trusted only after proving your memorable word. Lose a phone? Revoke it, and it loses all access at once.

A word you choose at setup is the root of recovery. It never leaves your device; the server holds only a sealed recovery escrow it cannot open without it.
